Unstill Life At Eric Schindler

Kathleen Hall is a Virginia-based painter working primarily from direct observation. Kathleen has been a resident at numerous artist colonies including Yaddo,  the Cité Internationale des Arts, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. 

This exhibition, Unstill Life, will feature recent oil paintings as well as a series of miniature gouache paintings of trees inspired by illuminated manuscripts. Through May 28.

Single-Use Account by Elizabeth Orr at 1708 through June 19. Central to the exhibition is an advertisement, written and produced by the artist and presented as a multi-channel video and sculptural installation. Through the seductive visual language of luxury branding, this advertisement promotes a lifestyle that stridently values sustainability.
